ANNA ZEIBIG
Cluster Contemporary Jewellery Exhibitor | 2021 & 2022
Anna Zeibig’s artistic journey started in Seville, Spain as an interior designer spending 17 years in this profession. In 2017 she changed scales and also learned her new passion, jewellery making, in Madrid, Spain and Budapest, Hungary. After completing her studies she established her own studio Anna Zeibig Jewelry in 2019.
Since then, her work was showcased at various international exhibitions and galleries in Athens, London, Shanghai, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Vienna, Milan, Torino, Valencia, Budapest, and Madrid.
Anna is one of the few jewellery artists in the world who creates jewellery using an ancient Japanese technique called mitsuro hikime.
Her extraordinary pieces are not following any kind of fashion line, they are rather independent, edgy and uncategorised.
Anna’s work is solely about sovereignty. Sovereignty over our bodies, our choices, our place in the world, and our pursuit of freedom. Her pieces reflect a profound conviction in everyone’s inalienable right to autonomy, self-determination, and self-expression.
This theme comes before any other concept like design, materials, technique, size, or color, which all come together in Anna’s unique pieces to reflect her conviction. It doesn’t matter if her jewelry is an everyday glass and silver earring or an extravagant porcelain statement piece, at the core of Anna’s creative process is the desire to never lose sight of her sovereignty.
