TOMOYUKI ABE
Cluster Exhibitor | Photography & Print Fair 2022
Tomoyuki Abe, aka Botty has been involved in video production since 1998.
Since 2002, he has been working as a freelance video director, and since 2018, as a cinematographer,
mainly for films.
These works were inspired by a passage from Kyoka Izumi's novel "The Grass Labyrinth.
In the blink of an eye, a time akin to eternity flows, inhabited by those who are outside (or inside) our imagination.
We can't prove that the world we see before and after the blink is the same, but we can be sure that it is.
If this world is made up of such ambiguous things, I would like to talk with you more and hold your hand.
The equipment Botty uses:
Camera NIKON FM10
Lenses nikkor ai 50mm f1.4
Flashes Neewer NW630
Filters
His first camera was: Canon AE-1
(belonged to his grandfather)
