Burçin Dülgerolglu is a contemporary jewellery artist based in Bodrum. She graduated from the faculty of civil engineering as a technician and also from Istanbul Fashion Academy. She has worked in many different creative areas, such as designing cinema auditoriums, furniture, lighting, fashion, ceramics, sculptures and jewellery.

In 2018, she created “REI” as a name for her contemporary jewellery and artworks. Rei means "Extraordinary Knowledge" and "Universal” in Japanese.

Burçin loves navigating the field of possibilities with different styles, forms, materials and techniques: “Each product I design and produce has its own story. A vision, a moment, a fact or just a feeling... Life itself and every bit of it, contains art. This inspires me and breathes into my creations”.

She produces her contemporary jewellery with traditional handcrafted methods and creates a state of being special and unique to each piece.

One of the endless possibilities is human beings.
The “I’m Breaking Free From The Modal Facts” collection tells the person who has been captive of typical thought, the power of existence by appearing in of the endless possibilities and it is possible to transform”.

THE COLLECTION “TRUE SELF”

The "True Self" Collection tells the story of the 'higher self' that can go beyond all forms; in the freedom to hug yourself and love without any judgement.
Black and white colours refers to the polarisation in the material world. Forms, textures and finishes create a free space where human-invented imperfection/perfection loses its meaning. In the "Ego & Me Earrings" from the "True Self Collection", burnt faux leather and ceramic and brass and silver earring pins were used.

The collection consists of 12 pieces. Brass, ceramics, leather and burnt faux leather were used.
