Catarina Ludovico was born in Portugal and is currently 28 years old. She moved to the UK in 2013 to work and study and is currently doing a Masters in Cinematography in Cardiff.

Catarina Ludovico’s work revolves mainly around photography and moving image. Subjects of vulnerability, sensuality and femininity regarding the male body are the main areas of interest in her practice. Primarily exploring the boundaries and challenges of her own gender identity and sexuality, Catarina strives to create a safe environment for her models and often leaves posing questions and answering to the audience, giving nothing away about herself in her work. Her current project is an ongoing self-discovery using another physical body in an attempt to portray her own.
