Christoph Straube
born (1971)
in Munich, Germany.
A simple shape with a white enamelled background serves as a canvas.
By enamel painting with a concentration on areas, gradients and lines it becomes an illusion of a three dimensional body.
This process gives great control over the process, though allows for randomness. The pieces are located
in an illusionary space
which is perceived even more when worn, but only exists
in the viewer's perception.
