This is a part of “Promenade” series. Until recently, I did not appreciate the privilege of growing up in such a rich environment. There are a lot of objects of subtle beauty of nature in Kyoto, Japan. 

In this work, I wanted to capture a butterfly resting on the flower for a very short moment in time,  which I believe is important for us to remember.  The hook of the piece is located on the left side of the image.
