The 3 sacred hearts represent the devotion to the sacred heart of St. Joseph sacred heart (with flower branch), Mary (on fire, pierced by dagger with wreath of flowers) and Jesus(crown of thorns and cross).

The heart, biblically speaking, is the center of the emotions, of human feelings; that is why the heart, mentioned so often in the Bible, has supreme importance. And since the heart reacts to human emotions, that is why it can be considered the center of sensitivity, so much so that it is considered part of the soul. And in theology, the heart is the divine category of love.

"My Divine Heart so ardently loves men that unable to contain within Itself any longer the flames of Its burning love, It needs spread them".

The Holy Heart of Jesus is our heart bursting and burning with love and energy even for those who do not love Him and reject Him.

​The Immaculate Heart of Mary is depicted surrounded by a crown of flowers, symbol of purity, and ​pierced by a sword in reference to the unspeakable pain Mary suffered when her son died.

​The Most Chaste Heart of Joseph represents the heart of those who love without selfishness, ​without putting themselves first. Joseph is a man of deeds not words.
