The Algae earrings are part of the IN SITU collection from Slate Jewelry. Naturally harvested seaweed from French Beach, Vancouver Island has been dried and cut into circles then cured within homemade bioplastic. Coated with resin to prevent decomposition normal to bioplastic, the earrings have been set in silver and studded with rosecut brown moonstones.
