In 2017, I faced a loss of creative inspiration, reminiscent of my first contemporary jewellery lesson. Our professor challenged us to create 100 forms using round label stickers, prompting us to fold, cut, and combine them in new ways.

This experience led me to revisit my circle project, where I began dapping circles to clear my mind and realign my direction. Each circle symbolised a pivotal moment in my artistic journey, reinforcing the idea that I could always embrace a fresh start.

The necklace reflects this journey, with its interconnected circular forms representing continuity and renewal. Each element serves as a reminder of my creative resilience and the endless possibilities that arise from embracing change. I hope the necklace inspires its wearer to recognise their freedom to begin anew.
