The Rotor earing is part of the collection "Lost in Dreamland". This project was inspired by Jingyao Wang's (Julia) childhood memories of the funfair, which used to be our magic kingdom. Julia creates wearable art installations that transform classic elements of amusement parks into enchanting jewellery, evoking nostalgic dreams. When the wearers shake their head, the hammer shakes.  The wearers travel through time in a spin,  like an hourglass reversing to represent a step backwards in time.  The earrings can be worn in two ways, either with the two frames open and worn, or folded together.
