“Gems” are rings shaped by the dance between practical and experimental factors. First, this series was created in resin, cement, quartz with a process used in technology - rapid innovation loops – where casting is fluid and reiterative. No piece was the same, the process was evolutionary. Sketch, experiment, accept, chuck out, restart. Gems in silver and gold are produced in silver and gold plated silver with lost wax technique.
