Patching up Humanity by Emily Smith
Patching up Humanity by Emily Smith
This ring originates from two ideas; the initial project (4 years ago) stemmed from a charity auction for MSF. This iteration of the project started last year. The ring shape depicts a boat, and the people on top, the amazing medical teams taking care of those who needed it. The other, closer-to-home, sentiment: sometimes life leaves us feeling like our heads are heavy and that there is a hole in our hearts. It's not constant. These feelings can fluctuate. It's important to help patch up others. It's important to reach out when you need help patching up too. This ring comes with a little ebony dock, until it’s ready to set sail again.
