The Defective Goddesses body of work is a series of ceramic stoneware vessels that are presenting an opportunity to create an open dialogue with its audience on hidden illnesses. The current situation we find ourselves in society when understanding hidden illnesses especially those that affect women. Looking beyond the visuals and demands we rethink our modern healthcare system, as we see reflected back at us vessels that wear their hidden illnesses on the surface.
