Cluster Exhibitor | Cluster Contemporary | 2022
Erdy Duangkamol Based in Bangkok, Thailand. She has over 10 years of experience as an illustrator, and has just begun doing abstract art for the past year.
She began her career by writing 5 pockets books and creating illustrations by herself. At first, she draws water color illustrations in a lovely, and sweet style.
After three years, she realized that her work didn't improve much. Then she began illustrating in a different style.
Erdy worked as a flat-style illustrator for a magazine in 2016. She has gained a new talent and how to think more thoroughly about things. Her artistic style has evolved. It was more sophisticated and unisex.
However, after five years of working in the rule as a flat-style illustrator, she was burned out.
In 2022, she took a moment to reflect on herself and realized that abstract painting, which is extremely different from flat graphics, was what she should do in order to revive her own enthusiasm for the arts.
Now her passion for art has grown; instead of focusing on creating picture to communicate a message, she now creates art to emphasizes her emotions without concern for style.
