GABRIELA VALENZUELA
Cluster Photography & Print Exhibitor | 2025
Gabriela Valenzuela (b.1989) is a Mexican photographer with over five years of experience. Her work is strongly influenced by street photography, black-and-white imagery, and minimalism. She specialises in capturing movement through long-exposure techniques, often highlighting people in significant moments or spaces. Inspired by renowned photographer Phil Penman, with whom she attended a workshop, Gabriela has developed a style that combines the rawness of street photography with the expansive beauty of landscapes.
Her passion for cinematic photography adds a storytelling element to her work, where each frame is carefully crafted to evoke emotion. Gabriela’s minimalist approach ensures that every detail in her composition carries weight, making her images powerful and intentional.
Currently based in Oxford, where she has been studying for a year and a half, Gabriela’s main photography locations are Mexico and the UK. She embraces the contrasting elements of both environments, using them to fuel her creativity.
Photographer specialising in cinematic landscapes and long-exposure photography.
