Gianni Gentile was born in Morcone, Southern Italy, on 12th November 1977. Gianni graduated with a masters in Scenic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. He then worked as a Set Designer in theatres across the South of Italy.

Channeling a passion for graphic literature Gianni has explored the mediums of comic book, fashion graphic design and cover illustration.

His graphic novel Ghicurd was published in the Italian recipe book Profumi di storie (Stories’ Scents). Gianni also makes short videos; directing, filming and editing. Still exhibiting and working as artist & teacher, he currently lives in Naples.
