Ieva Birģele is a young glass artist from Latvia. She has been working with glass for more than ten years. While studying glass art and design, Ieva was interested in creating not only large-scale works, but also miniature things such as jewelry. Therefore, alongside her major works of art, Ieva also created her contemporary glass jewellery brand Glass Berries, which has grown successfully and has participated in many different design events and various international exhibitions

After graduating, Ieva participated in many exhibitions and events and continues to develop as a glass artist. But already during her studies, she was also interested in various miniature forms and techniques, and as a result of which the glass jewelry brand Glass Berries was created.

Every creation of nature is unique and unrepeatable, and this is my main idea about the creation process. Each piece of glass jewellery I create is unique and will always be organic shapes and slightly different with each design.
