The name of glass artist Jitka Skuhrava is synonymous with natural modeling of shape, organic design, unostentatious but distinct luxury, precise and experienced work with glass material. 

She has been working with glass as a medium for more than 30 years, studying cold and hot glassmaking techniques at home and abroad. /began by studying glass engraving/. She herself is actively engaged in artistic processing of glass, engraving and cutting artistic glass solitaires. The linear decor, based on the "graphic" concept, can still be seen in her works today. She derives her typical engraved decor mainly from nature, she is also brilliant in drawing. She uses, for example, the structures of nests woven by birds. For blown glass objects, she uses a technology based on the natural flow of molten glass, shaping using centrifugal force and gravity, resulting in a naturally organic design.

 After graduating from University of Applied Arts in Prague she mainly designs glass sculptures and installations in architecture under the Jitka Skuhrava Glass brand. Over a 17-year period, she implemented many lighting projects in prestigious and modern architecture. These are not chandeliers in the traditional sense of the word, but primarily an original glass installation with sculptural volumes. Each sculpture has its own story, which is logically linked to the place for which it was designed.
