LIZ MORISON
Cluster Exhibitor | Cluster Contemporary | 2022
Liz Morison makes objects that perform, or ask to be performed with. Materials as metaphor, humour, feminism and politics are all part of her research and process. Starting an Art Foundation course in 1969 she ‘dropped out’ and into a career in Nursing, Midwifery, Health Visiting and Teaching. Born in London, she lived and worked in Tower Hamlets for many years then moved to Herefordshire to grow a family. She restarted a Foundation course 16 years ago and completed her BA in 2009: “A 40 year Fine Art degree, loved every minute!” She continued with an MFA at Wimbledon College of Arts in 2014 to 2016.
