LORCAN GOULD

Cluster Photography & Print Exhibitor | Rising Talent Showcase | 2025

Lorcan Gould (b. 2006) is an emerging artist from the UK, based between London and Suffolk, currently completing a Fine Art foundation course in London. His practice spans various mediums, including photography, video, and installation, but he has developed a particular interest in alternative analogue photography techniques such as pinhole, large format, red scale, expired film, and the Sabattier effect.

His work often becomes a reflection of his own wanderings, shaped by the unpredictable results of these experimental processes. He also explores themes surrounding the physical and digital realms, interactive art, and the ephemeral.

Lorcan plans to continue his education with a BA in Fine Art in London.

My visual practice is centred on the materiality of the mediums I use, often exploring my own wanderings, the space between the physical and digital, and the ephemeral.

Wanderer, an ongoing project of mine, explores my surroundings between Suffolk and London. Experimental analogue photography is at the heart of this personal project, inspired by Suffolk’s natural landscapes and coastline, as I explore and test the boundaries of the photographic medium.
