Michelle Lowe-Holder has been making sustainable up-cycled accessories for over a decade. Originally from Canada she worked in the fashion and theatre industry in New York before launching her own RTW fashion label from 2000 - 2010 in London.

Aware of the problem existing in fashion production, Michelle was mentored by the newly opened Center for Sustainable Fashion at LCF in 2009. In 2010 she launched her first conscious sustainable accessory collection focusing on recycled materials, hand craft and technology. Celebrating photography, each collection is showcased as “Fashion Portraits” embracing diverse beauty and the art of the image.

Michelle Lowe-Holder’s pieces have been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally.

The OFF-CUTS collection mixes local metal waste of cuts with knives taken from the streets of London. Collaborating with Project ReGo and KnifeSafe - collected knives and off cut metals from East London are water jet cut and integrated into accessories thru weave and rivetting.
Changing the narrative around youth violence the “knife” pieces are shaped into undulating metal ring waves, chain mail cuffs and industrial earrings.
Percentage of proceeds from sales go towards the ReGo Youth Project.
