“I discovered contemporary jewellery late in life. I am enthusiastic about the phenomenon in general and fascinated by the modernists in particular. My favourite materials are silver and copper, my main technique: construction. I explore textile techniques and casting for sculptural effects.”

“My jewellery is mostly figurative, one off, influenced by cityscapes, conveying an idea or a message. I am concerned about composition, and not as much about wearability or finishing my pieces, for me this is the dark side of making jewellery.”
