I often joke and say that I was born with a flower in my hand. I discovered that I am sometimes too sensitive and empathic and I need to anchor myself in nature for stability and balance. I like imperfect lines and the extraordinary of the ordinary. This obsession combined with the way I develop roots when I sit down at the work table, perfectionism, patience and rich imagination are the fuel for my path as an artist.
I use, of course, plants or pieces of plants, sometimes sealed with resin and metal, which supports the organic fragility through its strength.
When I see the extraordinary around me, I feel the need to make it mine, to learn it, to have it, to share it with those around me, to lose it and find it again.
