FLOWER AURA

Olena Kudrenko AKA Olena Shalena is a Ukrainian-Irish artist based in Switzerland, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and visual storytelling. Passionate about art in all its forms—painting, photography, and architecture—she constantly seeks inspiration through travel, exploring cultural heritage, exhibitions, and contemporary artistic movements.

Nature remains her greatest muse. Growing up in the Ukrainian countryside, surrounded by diverse flora, she developed a deep appreciation for the organic world. Flowers and plants frequently appear in her work, serving as a bridge between the natural and the digital. Through AI-generated imagery, she explores the interplay of light and shadow, creating compositions that feel both ethereal and structured.

With a background in fashion, Olena brings a refined aesthetic sensibility to her artistic practice. She experiments with geometric forms and futuristic elements, incorporating a technological edge into her work while maintaining an organic flow. Her creations blur the boundaries between the real and the artificial, evoking a sense of metamorphosis—a recurring theme in her art.

I am a visual artist working with AI-generated art, exploring the tension and harmony between nature and technology. AI, by its very nature, is artificial—an advanced tool of computation and pattern recognition—yet I seek to bridge this digital precision with the organic unpredictability of the natural world. My practice revolves around botanical forms, capturing the richness of plant life while experimenting with light, shadow, and geometry to create unexpected visual outcomes.

In my latest project, Metamorphosis, a series of still images and a subsequent video work, I explore the possibility of coexistence between technology and nature—not as opposing forces, but as a symbiotic relationship. Through AI, I reimagine organic forms within a digital framework, questioning whether artificial intelligence can serve as a conduit rather than a barrier to humankind’s connection with the natural world.

RED GEOMETRY

By using technology to depict nature, I navigate the delicate balance between the artificial and the organic. My work invites the viewer to reflect on transformation—how nature, digital aesthetics, and human identity can evolve together rather than exist in conflict.
