Shiqi Fu is an interdisciplinary artist working in jewellery, painting, and small sculptures. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with first-class honours. Her work has been exhibited internationally in the United Kingdom, Greece, Romania, and China. Inspired by nature, her artwork often reflects her emotions and sentiments by combining organic shapes and captivating hues.
Each piece crafted by Shiqi is imbued with a sense of nostalgia, as she channels her memories and experiences into tangible expressions of beauty. Considered as a medium for her personal narrative, her art not only reflects her profound connection to the natural world but also invites others to explore their own relationship with nature, seeking solace and inspiration within its embrace.
“My work is centered on memories and experiences, recreating childhood fantasies, subtle emotions, and details of life.
Therefore, most of my works attempt to reproduce the feelings and memories of a certain moment. For example, in my childhood, I was obsessed with the brilliant sky, the movement of the clouds, the twinkling stars, and the infinite fantasies I had about them, which I consider to be the starting point of my curiosity about nature and the world.”

“My work is initially based on metal and then explores different mediums, combining natural organic shapes with vibrant colors, inviting the audience into a realm of fantasy, evoking their childlike innocence, and reconnecting them with their inner child.
I see my work as a form of self-expression, which includes my connection to nature, my perception and reflection on life, as well as a bridge between a fascinating childhood and a complex adulthood.”
