“My mind is like a camera, my lens cap is always off and I’m ready to shoot. It is a constant voice in my head, ‘look at those clouds or the light casting shadows, layers of mountain tops in silhouette, an old rustic door or the reflections on the water. Wow, look at that pink sofa against that knackered old wall! and on and on it goes’…

It is a nagging, creative desire to want to capture something visually and so I paint. I never really know which direction a painting will go, but as long as I make a start, I’m heading on a creative journey in search of resolve. Until next time…
