I am interested in bionic architecture and design and technologies. Bionic architecture is a contemporary movement that studies the physiological, behavioural, and structural adaptions of biological organisms as a source of inspiration for designing and constructing expressive buildings. These structures are designed to be self-sufficient, being able to structurally modify themselves in response to the fluctuating internal and external forces such as changes in weather and temperature.

Tamara Trusova was born in Volgograd, Russia. For the last five years she has studied in the Studio of Applying art and had individual classes with professors, teachers of design and architecture: drawings, sculpture, manual model making, fine art in mixed media. After education at Physical and Mathematical Lyceum she entered into Volgograd Architectural University at Faculty of Design of Environment. After two years she moved to Moscow and started studying at Moscow Institute of Architecture. During her last years of studying she was interested in programming, computational design, new technologies and materials. This interest resulted in the creation of complex mathematical forms realised as accessories. Jewellery design is miniature architecture that includes work of creating form and image of it. These two art industries can help open themselves to each other and enrich the author’s world. Accessories are made through inspiration of bionic structures, mathematical forms and algorithms. The materials she uses are stainless steel, bronze, silver and gold.

The bionic design is an interesting trend in contemporary architecture, which is characterized by the search for spatial forms in analogy to living organisms. The analyses of the possibilities to describe natural patterns using mathematical models that enable the transfer of biological structures are of particular importance. The natural patterns open up new ways to look for effective structures and materials. Shaping the forms «adapted»to the conditions, the environment and the surroundings is an element of structural design optimized in terms of working loads, which exists in accordance with the idea of a sustainable development.

Jewellery design is a small architecture that included work of creating form and image of it. These two art industries can help open themselves to each other and enrich the author’s world. My accessories are made by inspiration of bionic structures, mathematical forms and algorithms.
