TARA DAHLIN
Cluster Crafts Exhibitor | 2024
Tara Dahlin originates from Gothenburg, Sweden, a city renowned for its industrial heritage, where she found her calling in the art of creation. Trained as an industrial designer at IKDC, Lund University, and Hochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Tara embarked on her professional journey in Stockholm before relocating to London, where she honed her skills over five fruitful years. In 2022, she returned to her roots in Gothenburg to establish TADA, a studio dedicated to exploring the realms of intuitive design and craftsmanship.
Initially drawn to wood carving as a creative outlet, her journey took a transformative turn when she discovered the expressive potential of stone as a medium, igniting a profound affection for the craft. Now, Tara embarks on a new chapter as she prepares to unveil her creations at Cluster Craft Fair, marking her debut exhibition since the inception of TADA. This exhibition not only signifies a milestone in her career but also represents a celebration of her journey from industrial inspiration to innovative craftsmanship.
