PATTERSON FALLS
Cluster Exhibitor | Photography & Print Fair 2022
Patterson Falls is a multimedia artist exploring
the intersection of photography, technology and traditional mediums. His work interprets streams
of consciousness woven in nostalgia and altered through culture, society, spiritualism and environment.
His ideas reformed through experimentation & aesthetic principles in a bid to reconnect the self and navigate identity through the digitized and volatile landscape.
Growing up in London and New York throughout the 70’s/80’s is where Patterson Falls’ visual and cultural references took shape. Movements from Punk, Dub, New wave, Hip Hop and all in between influencing his dual identities as an artist and musician. Older forms being sampled and remixed into newer genres, a diy aesthetic rooted in experimentation having a profound effect on his approach.
Patterson has created works for Sony, Geffen, and Universal Music as well as art schemes for contemporary hotels and spaces in London. He is a member of Alice in Hackneyland Collective, who in 2021 were commissioned by Orleans House Gallery to create an interactive and monumental Neon Banquet installation for their “Octagon 300” Exhibition. Currently working on an immersive gallery concept to champion new realms in photography and extend narrative beyond the frame.
