“I am young freelance illustrator based in Poland. I realised my illustrations with Procreate on iPad. I use standard brushes for my work. I finished art high school in 2017 and then decided to go to the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.
Graphics has always been my passion. It turned into an illustration. I started exercising my imagination and gradually everything started to look better and better. I like to illustrate magazines. I also make individual illustrations. Posters. Recently, patterns with the use of my style are a new passion.
Books are my big dream and I hope that this day will come. I don’t limit myself to one area - I try to discover everything one by one. This year I finished my studies and I feel that the world is open.”
“Art has always been a part of my life when I was a child, I often resorted to cards and crayons. With the help of the picture, I wanted to tell different stories. I often won school contests. But then I didn’t realise anything. My mother signed me up for classes at a community centre, and there I could watch older girls getting ready for their art studies exams. Then it became my dream. I got into art school. It was a dream come true because drawing was practiced every day. After class, I drew people on trains, in a cafe.”
“I was very impressed by the meeting with Patrick Hardziej - a popular Polish illustrator. Thanks to its history, I started looking for my own style of illustration. sometimes I have the impression that I am still looking because I am a young person I am passionate about geometry. Simple perception of the world. I try to translate it into everyday life and my illustrations. so seriously i got into illustration two years ago. Works depicting women were made, full of shapes and pink. They were referring to Venus. I went from round shapes to more simple, geometric ones.”
“Draws works digitally on the tablet. It is a comfortable solution for me because I can take it anywhere. I never waste my time waiting for food in a restaurant and I always create something new. I do not create a series of works. each illustration is different, individual. It tells a different story. But each one that is created has common features: style, I often use the same or similar colours, geometry, simplicity.
I also like to use the same brushes over and over again. Draws works digitally on the tablet. It is a comfortable solution for me because I can take it anywhere. I never waste my time waiting for food in a restaurant and I always create something new :) I try to work with various textures and interesting brushes to make the drawing interesting. I also love colours. Working with colour is the best part of my job. I try to choose them carefully so that they complement each other and are contrasting. I like to go back to the classics - red, black, blue, yellow, white. I love it.”
