Dancer 1 is the first in a series of artworks inspired by sketches made of a moving model. From the artist’s sketches the essence of the dancing figure is captured in the neon interpretation, using simple lines to describe the grace and form of the dancer.

The simplicity is carried through with pink neon and a light blue, slightly textured, matt background on steel. Dancer 1 is a very popular and original artwork. Variations on this artwork can be commissioned but will not be identical, as every artwork is unique.
