Necklace series ‘Found Myself Through Home’, 2022

This work is inspired by the artist’s personal journey home between South Korea and the UK. Each necklace was created using simple shapes, materials, and processes. Kim is fascinated by connecting chains, links, and the space in-between. The simple shapes serve as a medium for a sense of belonging and her emotions. The oxidised silver represents the transition between psychological states.
